Duramax®
Duramax®
is a new solution for all extrenal high hazard applications.
After an extensive
search Glamex has selected Pacific Coast Yellow Cedar
- a naturally durable timber that meets International
Environmental Certification with proven working properties
in high hazard areas.
Glamex have combined
these credentials ensuring designers can specify reliable
engineered timber products that stand the test in the
most demanding environments
Duramax®
is available in a range of beams and columns that are
naturally durable and resistant to termites.
Duramax®
APPEARANCE

The timber is
characterised by its distinctive and uniform yellow
color, it's fine texture and straight grain. Knots are
small and sound and have no adverse affect on the structural
performance of members. It is harder than Red Cedar
and has excellent strength and wear properties. When
dressed or manufactured as Laminated Beams and Columns
the timber has a very silky finish it is very light
coloured in appearance similar to Baltic. All Duramax®
products are manufactured from kiln-dried timber to
eliminate shrinkage, surface checking and distortion.

Duramax®
